Service Description

Sports massage is indicated for the management of muscle discomfort due to intensive training, the rehabilitation from soft tissue injuries, pre- intra- post- events, and general body maintenance of amateur or/and professional athletes. The first appointment consists of taking the patient's medical history, collecting information as to sports and daily life habits, testing posture, range of motion, muscle strength and stage of injury if present. After assessing the general health conditions of the athlete, together with the therapist a treatment plan is designed so that specific massage techniques and home exercise can fully support the person in between the following sessions towards soft tissue improvement, help him/her regain body function and achieve an overall better life style.
